Saint Martin sur Lavezon is dwarfed by the peaks, hills and crags overlooking it and the ruins here remind you of a time when it was not pleasant to live down in the valley. All that has changed today and even though the village is made up of several hamlets clinging to the side of the hill, it is a haven of peace.
